Kanata Chiropractors : FAQ
As chiropractors in Kanata ON, we hear many questions from new and current patients, below are some of the most common questions we hear.

How much does it cost for the initial chiropractic consultation?
The initial consultation is at the Doctor’s expense. Should the Doctor feel it necessary to perform any further tests (i.e. x-rays), the cost for those tests will be discussed with you before the tests are performed.
Why do I have to come to a report?
This is the most important visit. During this visit, the Doctor will explain to you the specific type of care that he/she practices at the clinic. He/she will then let you know what the problem is, what it is causing, and if it’s correctable. If it’s correctable, the Doctor will let you know how long it will take, how many visits it will require, and how much it will cost.
Do I need a referral from my Medical Doctor?
No. Chiropractors are primary care providers, just like your Medical Doctor.
How long is the initial consultation?
The initial visit should take approximately 45 minutes.
Is it safe to have my neck adjusted?
Neck adjustments are safe. If you have any special considerations or concerns about your health status, feel free to discuss those with your Chiropractor before beginning any adjustments.
