What to Expect

You will immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door.
Your First Visit

On your first visit to Hazeldean Chiropractic, you will meet our team of enthusiastic chiropractic assistants and be welcomed to the office. Allow yourself about 45 minutes for your consultation, which includes completing a few simple forms with some of your personal health information. You will discuss your current health concerns and needs with one of our chiropractors, and then proceed to have an in-depth examination of your posture and spinal health. This may include x-rays of your spine, which we consider an extremely important and valuable tool in delivering the best care possible.

Second Visit

Following your initial consultation, you will return for a "Report of Findings" with your chiropractor. During this visit, you will receive the results of your examinations and our recommendations for correcting the problem.

A Typical Office Visit

A typical visit to our office once beginning chiropractic care only takes a few minutes. An adjustment doesn't require much time, but it is what allows your body to begin the healing process.

Dr. Pierre Asks some important questions of interest to Kanata residents - Chiropractor Kanata Dr. Pierre Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
How could a child benefit from chiropractic?
Regardless of our age, each of us in Kanata encounters physical, chemical and emotional stresses that exceed our ability to handle. For newborns, it could be the trauma encountered at birth. For toddlers it could be from learning to walk or ride a bike. Many of the problems we chiropractors see in adults are the result of neglected traumas from childhood.
