Initial Examination

17 year old female with a chief complaint of weekly headaches and daily acid reflux.

Findings/Discussions: As you can see on her initial x-ray (#1), there is a reversal in the cervical spine. This alignment creates pressure on the spinal cord and leads to early degenerative disc disease and spinal arthritis. This is the major reason why she is suffering from headaches and acid reflux.

 
Progressive Examination Performed After Being Under Care for 3 Months

After 3 months of adjustments, she reports that she no longer experiences any headaches or acid reflux.

 
Progressive Examination Performed After Being Under Care for 6 Months

After 6 months of adjustments, she reports that she still feels great, but that she has fallen off track with her tractioning exercises.

Findings/Discussion: As you can see on her last x-ray (#2), the reversal in the cervical spine is no longer present, but we want to make sure to fully restore the normal cervical curve in order to prevent any further damage. As a result, we are continuing with her regular adjustment schedule and she will continue with her tractioning exercises.
